I am going to be down at Table Rock lake the day after Labor Day for the whole week at a conference at chateau on the lake resort. I am renting a slip with a lift at the hotel so I won't have to put the boat in the water every day and was wondering if there where any places to take the boat to go eat. Will probably take some customers and other vendors out one night with me so would like to have an idea of where to go and where to stay away from! Have only been on the lake once 3 years ago so I'm not too familiar with it.

Then one Thursday my wife and kids are coming down. My kids will be 3 and 16 months at the time and they like to boat up to a beach and swim and play in the sand. Is there any place like that at Table Rock? Any information I would greatly appreciate it. Also if anybody is going to be down there at that time and would like to meet up let me know.

Chateau has a couple of restaurants but if you want to get out Charlie's steak and ribs at Rock Lane resort is pretty good. It's just a few coves over.

I'm not sure about a sand beach. Moonshine Beach may have one and it's right next to the Chateau.

Sharky's Pizza is fairly close for the kids http://www.lazyleesresort.com/ another decent place is http://therocksgrill.com/

You might want to call Sharkey's before you motor over there. I think they go from Memorial day to Labor day. I could be wrong though. You can also motor over to Big Cedar Lodge by water. It's just past the Branson Bell on the same side of the lake as you are. They have a couple of restaurants to eat at. I'm not sure about any sandy areas and if there were the high water would have destroyed all that and I doubt they, the Corp, would take the time to repair them since it's the end of season. You should have a nice, quiet time while you're there. Don't know if any areas that you should avoid. If you feel like take a ride, head south and go down Long Creek. It's not as open and winds down into Arkansas. Beautiful area of the lake.
