We decided to keep the boat and take it with us to the great white north.
Last night when I told Mrs. Moose that we should keep it, it's the first time that I've seen her smile since I put the boat up for sale.
No Shoes, No Shirt, No Proplems is heading to Calgary in June of 2017. Just over 3000 miles away.

Going from Houston TX to Calgary is going to be a huge change in climates, best of luck with your move MrMoose!!!

Not 2017, but I'm hoping soon. Kind of thinking that it might be difficult towing a Canadian boat across the border and launching it in US waters.

Oh I thought you were not leaving till June of 2017 I was thinking the week before you left you could do it.

Glad to hear you will keep it. Should be a lot to see up there. What an exciting upcoming chapter you and your family have to look forward to!

Funny @robert843 ... I get it. The moving company's semi pulls away with a house full of stuff, and I pull away in the opposite direction with the boat in tow. DON'T TEMPT ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks @2nazt. It's ridiculous how many expensive boats are in the Calgary area considering that there is so little in the way of good boating lakes. Mrs. Moose wants to head to Okanagan Lake in the neighboring province of British Columbia for a summer vacation. ... ... ... while I want to break @Majorsmackdown's longest tow record for the Bimini trip, but I haven't mentioned that to Mrs. Moose yet, and probably won't until it's time to go.

No problem @MrMoose maybe you can start the Canadian jb.net meet up and club! Those Canadian's know how to party and spend money! Lol

You will love the Okanagan lake area. I grew up on that lake and we pull the boat up that direction once every summer. Off the north end of Okanagan Lake is Kalamalka Lake which is beautiful (Kalamalka being the Indian word for many colors). South of the Okanagan lake is Lake Osoyoos - the warmest lake in Canada.
