Thank the lord for DVR!!!!! There is no way in hell I could make it through this years Olympics without the freakin fast forward button!! OMG! I typically let my DVR get about 2 hours ahead on the prime time showing before I start watching because I catch up to real time that fast.

PS. Anyone else just want to vomit when Bob Costas starts talking??

I want to vomit all the time.

Yes, I know I can stream but I'm already paying for my effing cable.

We use the dull times to clean up dinner, get the kids ready, vacuum, use the washroom etc. Works great!

Anyone have FIOS Quantum? About to upgrade my service, you can supposedly stream recorded content on your DVR out of the home.

This olympics we have been streaming 100% if it. Great for see all of the other sports that don't make prime time. The commercials haven't been that bad since they have a much more limited set to show, but still can't do anything about Bob. Had a family member once work with him for two olympics. Said the guy was a completely ass. See did however get to meet Pheleps and team in Beijing when they came in studio.

Right... To me the problem is there is very little of the actual olympic events they cover/show at all... I think this is an abomination of the greatest sport event.

Unfortunately, unless you travel or something and see how it can actually be done, it is hard to appreciate what we are robbed of.
