I have a 2019 scarab 195 ho and it seems that the thrust bucket needs adjustment due to it spraying. it also creeps backwards while in reverse. I do not have the intelligent system so I will need info for manually adjusting. what do I need to adjust to fix the issue, pics or video would be awesome. thanks

Before you do this, ensure that your net nozzle is adjusted correctly. There is an offset bushing UNDER the nozzle. It can be set so the nozzle is either point up or down. Factory default is that it should be pointing UP when the bushing is correctly set.

ONCE you've done this, and if you didn't have to change the bushing position, then you can proceed with this pic:

1. Remove the nut that holds the reverse bucket.
2. Remove the cotter pin, needs to be bent and pulled out.
3. Pull the black plastic cover UP and out. The cotter pin was all that was holding it.
4. Push the whole rod/cable UP until the large brass nut that was UNDER the black cover comes out of the hole.
5. Spin the brass nut either clockwise or anti-clockwise to make the cable tighter or looser accordingly.

which way to make the bucket go higher?
thanks

Instead of memorizing, it's always better to understand. If you pull the cable towards the bow, what will that do? You'll discover it LIFTS the bucket up.

So, the goal is to therefore tighten the cable. If you screw the brass nut clockwise, it makes the nut move forward which will therefore do the OPPOSITE of what we just did by pushing the bucket down. Since you're lengthening the section between the brass nut and the bucket.

Consequently, you wan to turn it anti-clockwise. This will shorten the distance between the brass nut and the bucket. Thus pulling the bucket forward and up.

BUT you DID verify the bushing under the nozzle first right?
