Time to refurbish my 09 212x

Obviously, @suke, you are not anal like some of us. :)

I started out as @Jaycav did--trying to hold the thing on there and marking where to scuff exactly. Fortunately, I figured out after two of us had a heckuva time doing that, it was not really needed with that much precision. I wound up just putting the thing on the ground and scuffing 'about that wide' on the hull. Then it goes on easily, as you say. But if you are trying to be exact with the scuffing, it is horrible.

Good job ! Will be installing my keelguard in a week or so hope it goes well.. it doesn't look that bad tho

that custom dash is legit! What did you feel was so hard for the keelguard? I've installed a couple and didn't think the one on my boat was that bad. Scuff up the area, peel back a starting point, use a creeper (in our case at the time we had a furniture dolly to lay on), and the tool to press it on. Bingo bango done in 20 mins.
Just tryin to get it lined up perfectly is a pain

Did you get the 7 or 8 feet, and can you post a picture of where you started at the top? Thanks

Ah, I see. I'm hyper OCD and was able to eye ball it without an issue.
