removed the old swim deck stuff getting her ready for seadek

i don't know what you are using to remove the residual adhesive, but I found this to work extremely well cleaning up the gelcoat before any application of Seadeck/Teak in my case.

while I’m waiting on my upholstery I cleaned the inside and HotSauced everything never used hot sauce before but it’s LEGIT

If you have never used Hot sauce you need to. Then you will buy it by the gallon like I do.

3m wheel eraser made quick work of my left over adhesive. Then just used acetone to clean up the remaining bits. Is that cleaner stronger than acetone or just different?

IDK...I keep acetone around too. I use Debond on all kinds of marine adhesives including Sikaflex, Life Seal/Caulk and 3m 5200. Funny, I just posted this about it today. https://jetboaters.net/threads/show-us-what-you-see.4515/page-354#post-427427 I have used it with great results each time. And I know it is safe to use on many materials.

That freakin sucked

It looks like the screws on the clean out tray latches are starting to pull through. I had the same issue and it was vastly improved by replacing with through bolted fasteners.

I placed rubber posts under the hatch to support it. Did the same to the anchor hatch. Yamaha was silly to think those screws would not pull through.

What did you do with the ignition? Is that a cover over it? Also is that a penis? LOL!
Im making a new ignition plate that will have usb and aux inputs on it that go to the new head unit. And im not sure what that is but its looks like came from the factory. They're? actually drawn in a few spots. ?‍♂️
