Today's the day I get my first boat

Long dock lines really helped me when we were first getting started. Used them to launch with easy, dock with ease, and get it back on the trailer.

Thanks for all the great advice and kind words. I'm picking her up in about an hour and headed straight for the ramp. I've been backing trailers my whole life so that part I'm good with but getting the boat back on is certainly going to take some time. I'll post some pics later this evening. Currently feel like a kid on Christmas morning waiting on the ok from the parents to open gifts.. lol

Highly recommend trailer guides as they make backing up painless, for slow-speed manuevering and reverse it is kinda wonky at first, biggest thing that took me about an hour of sitting in current waiting for people to figure out how to freaking load/unload their boats are, if you are in reverse, if you want the stern of the boat to go left, turn left, same thing for starboard! Congrats and i'm sure you will enjoy it!

Took her out all for a few hours. Couldn’t have scripted a better time. Everything went perfect with the launch and when we trailered. All the kids got up on the surf board and my oldest was able to toss the rope. I’m hooked!!!
