I have a 2008 AR230 I am only able to hit a top speed of 43 mph with my wife and I on (320 lbs) the boat.
The boat has bottom paint, 1/2 take fuel and the Bimini Top is up.
Does this seem about right?

Not a big deal just wanted to see if I am running in the correct range.

43-47 is fairly normal depending on the conditions. Both engines should be turning about 10,000 rpms. 10,200 is limit. I was by myself yesterday and ran 47.2 for a short period, no bimini up. I don't run WOT often. All of this is GPS, not speedo. Also farily close to sea level. Our elevation is 563.

Thank You, I am at sea level
I am 56 but the kid in me wants to see how fast the boat will go. It is good to know 10,000 is the max. For test purposes I will try alone with Bimini down. I used GPS.

Also, speed builds up somewhat slowly once you get in the 40s. Give it a little time to top out.
