I have a 2021 Yamaha AR195. Looking for the best place to purchase black touch up paint for some scratches on the side. Thanks.

Unfortunately it's not paint. It's gelcoat. The problem with those types of scratches is it's not really deep to get a great mechanical bond, but too deep to wetsand and polish. You could try the gelcoat with a plastic spreader and see how it goes, or you might need to take a tool and create a V notch deeper in those areas. I know, it sounds worse than it is though. Your problem is that you need to progressively sand and polish the gelcoat after it's applied and set. You are really close to the decal, but you might make it work. If it's as shallow as I think it is, you could just hide with a black sharpie. You would probably have to do it somewhat routinely and it depends on if it will soak in somewhat. Spectrum makes Yamaha Black gelcoat paste for touch up. A lot of times it's on backorder and hard to find. The other option is professional repair which would likely need new graphics. Depending on the graphics cost it might be in the $600-$1,000 range and if your area is like ours all repair shops are busy and it would take a while. Might be a project for fall/winter.

your local auto paint store or napa should be able to match.

You have to order Spectrum directly from them now. They stopped selling through resellers the end of last year. I know iboat just said out of stock rather then removing the spectrum products from thier site. Spectrum usually ship the same or next day every time I ordered.
