Well. Finally surfed without the rope. Took wake wedge and 800lbs extra ballast (fat sac).
Port and ski locker ballast 100% too.

The wake looked messy but had great push and worked. Had a 4 min surf! Found best speed for me (200lbs) was 9.5mph after boat was “planed”. Had to move people up front and once it smoothed out back to back of the boat.

Nice work @Mjolsen74! It's such a cool feeling.

My prediction is that the "messy wake" you're referring to is the result have having the angle on the Wake Wedge set a bit too low. With that much ballast, you're probably only 4 full turns past level. It's purpose is to simply skim the surface; to low and it will plow.

Also what water depth are you in? Looks shallow?
