Wakebooster Doesn't fit 22ft Models without modification

Thanks. I find it amazing that they advertise one that specifically that fits the 222 on their website, yet they haven't made an actual modification. Hopefully, I am wrong.

It works great if you cut that corner off, no issues for me. Really just annoying it requires modification of either the plate or the seat bracket location to make it work.

Sorry if this is hijacking the thread, but how well do these wake boosters work? I’ve never been around a boat with one and am looking to get into a jet for water sports soon

Yes, it makes a noticeable difference. Plenty of videos out there showing it off. Just dont expect it to make some tsunami behind your boat with just this, you'll need plenty of ballast in order to get anything close to what the dedicated surf boats can throw.

Ok awesome, I’ll have to dig into it some more.
How much is plenty of ballast? More than a dedicated wake boat takes on?

The wake booster/enhancer definitely makes a difference by itself, but adding some ballast will obviously help even more. The booster/enhancer make a noticeable difference on calm water. Not as effective on a choppy day naturally.

Thank you. I am fairly handy so I’ll just use a metal blade and cut off that corner as you did in the pics earlier in the thread.
