One more quick question for you, does your engine hatch ever open while trailering? Mine has done it a number of times and thankfully at slow speeds

Thanks @Shane Scarab! You, too. I'm loving it. We've had 6 adults and 5 kids on ours and, unbelievable, it didn't seem to crowded at all.

I've really only made one trailering trip with her that was about 2 hours each way. No problems. Our neighborhood boat ramp is only a few miles away from where we store it and I don't go over 30 mph. I have to push my engine hatch down a bit to get it to release, so I'm not sure if it would come open on its own. That could be quite damaging at higher speeds.
 
I found the lug that inserts into the latch had come loose. Since I tightened it, it's been good.
