Does anyone have any experience with a harbor master cover made by DMC? I ran across this at my local walmart. The price is right, a price point that I wouldn't mind replacing it every few years. Model E in particular. Wiłl it fit my 212x? Is the quality acceptable?

pretty sure your tower will always get in the way of these covers.

Don't know about the Walmart cover, or the price but we purchased an off brand on Amazon and treated it with tent water proofing spray.
Pretty cheap but decent quality and has kept the boat clean and mostly dry for a year now.
Does the walmart cover have elastic/bungee style edges?
Rain will pool on the cover unless you have an anti pooling system.

Sisinu, you are right about that. I keep forgetting that the cover needs to go below the tower posts.

Evildwarf, the boat did come with the post system to keep the cover up so water will shed.

The point is, I'm trying to avoid spending $800 on a factory cover. And champaign suggestions for a beer buget? It doesn't have to be trailerable. We load all our stuff into the boat when we go to the lake because our accommodations is a floating house on the lake.
