I believe that's the same model I have. I've used it several times to take some scratches off the boat and buff out the paint on a few cars. If you're a professional detailer I'd go with something like a Dewalt but it just fine for the occasional detail. Get a wool pad and also a foam polishing pad. I use Meguiars m105 with the wool pad and then m205 with foam paid to polish out. Then a good coat of wax to protect.

i was told by an advanced employee the code TCT30 is ALWAYS good for 30% off ...on online orders.

No luck, TCT30 says invalid code. They must have eliminated that one.

The rebate shown on the link isn't for this model. On the Min-Kota site there is a rebate for this one for $25. Still a pretty good deal. I found the same deal/price on Amazon.

Bought 2 new deep cycle marine batteries at costco recently. $73ea.

They had car and lawn tractor batteries too. I’m sure a proportionately good price

Sams club has a one day sale this coming Saturday 5-12-18. All Marine and golf cart batteries are $20 off each. I'm swapping 3-year old batteries out. They are just not taking a good charge anymore.

When not on sale elsewhere, check out Academy. I have been impressed with their offerings on batteries.
 
I posted this pic of my new vest in another thread but having just left overton’s website I realize how good a deal it is. $30 plus tax at Costco v. $60 to $100 at overton’s.
