What is the missing plug here?

Doing the yearly maintenance and came across this empty hole. Port motor has it and it is missing from the starboard motor. I have looked everywhere below and around the engine but do not see it. There is no open access to the valve area and I assume it is just there to keep debris out ot there.

Looks like I need to order one.
