Have a new 2023 AR250 and want to put a keel guard on. How far down the keel do you want the guard to go? Do you start at the front U bolt? What is best brand, Gator Keel? Any and all help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.
If you have access to a Line X shop that is wiling to spray the keel of a boat, it works great! I've had gator/keel shield and won't go back to the strips.
not sure how our hulls differ, but i put a 10' megaware keelguard on my ar240....it starts 10" below bow eye, runs back to about the front of the first trailer tire...on mine there's room to get a longer model, but i can't see that area touching anything if beaching
