When to recharge batteries?

@Glassman , have you considered solar?..would save your back :)

I will be installing my Morningstar MPPT charger in the boat and plugging in my foldable panel when we anchor

Yes, I certainly did - especially since I already have some extra panels hanging around from the RV....BUT, it's stored indoors and I'm not the one who puts it away so expecting someone else to hook up wires and all that is a bit much. I just drop the boat off inside the gate and it gets picked up and put to bed by the guy who runs the yard.
I've got it down to a science at this point. Besides, I'm such a stud, what's a lil ol battery? ;)

Well, you could just have a connector hanging inside and a pigtail in the boat .

However, being a stud is what matters :)

Yeah...I had a choice. My wife said I could be a stud or a chick magnet. Stud was safer. :p
