Where is everyone putting their fenders?

I use the center cleat and then the front grab rail and the rear one behind the windshield. I tied large loops in the rope and push the bumper through the loop to wrap around the two rails the other two cleats are worthless for bumpers just good to tie to the dock.

I have used clips and straps and none work great. I love this technique of a large loop and pushing the bumper though, simple, strong and fast!
Great idea, thanks

I just purchased the fender tender clips, I'll report back if they work...

I use Hull Huggers, the XL size and I have one hang on a clip on the front grab rail, one on a suction cup clip mid-ship, and one on a clip on the rear cleat. Only been docking a short while but it seems to be working well, even in windy conditions. And the clips and cup make for a quick deployment.

I worry that the suction cup would fail, any fears of that for you?

Taylormade Big B Fenders are the best in my opinion. Rope is allowed to move through the middle of the fender reducing fender rash. Once you tie off the boats nice and tight it locks the fender in place. As the boat rocks the rope moves up and down through the fender. I recommend 8" x 20"

I use two 8" fenders. One tied to the front handrail close to the cockpit and the other on the tower. Seems to work pretty well.

I like the Taylormade Big B Fender idea. May have to try that!
Although I can't see how the line slipping through the fender helps. If you make the line long enough to allow for movement, wouldn't the fender just drop to the bottom of the rope when pressure is released? In other words I can see how it could help as the boat goes down, but going up I could see it reaching it's limit and pulling hard on the fender. Either way, these seem like a better solution to the hull huggers.
