I am going to change the thermostats on my Yamaha 232 Limited S. I called the local Yamaha dealer and asked for the thermostats and gaskets to do this and was told I would not need gaskets. Does this make sense? Thanks in advance.

Thermostats have a rubber gasket molded to them so no other gasket is needed.
