The big piece top center is the gate (when you look at it on your boat, it'll be black plastic) and the big thing with the huge hole is the nozzle. See how the gate is blocking the nozzle just a touch? Top center of nozzle?
If yours is like that when your throttle levers are in the full forward position, could be your problem. You would need to adjust the cable that attaches to the top center of the gate.

Thanks, I think I got it now and it makes since if the gate is coving the nozzle it would cause vibration.

I think I got it now, but your picture looks just like what I have, the gate is metal not black plastic, I do not have any of that fancy blue plastic, that must be an add on?

The picture is showing the gate too low. If yours looks like the picture, your gate is too low.

The gate should rise up fully out of the way of the nozzle opening.

old problem, as mcmark said if the gate rides on the water exiting the nozzle it can telegraph the vibration back to your controls, first thing to check is the large plastic nut where the cable exits the hull if that is loose it lowers the hood so it may just need to be tightened . Since it holds the cable, being loose allows the cable to have extra slack. If this is not the case just tighten the cable adjuster at the reverse hood to clear the opening of the nozzle

Ok, I see your boat is a little older than mine so you still have metal reverse gates, mine are black plastic. The blue plastic are added on aftermarket fins to help with tracking.

So I checked the nozzle position and compared both left and right side and they are the same, the nut coming out of the haul is tight. There does seem to be a lot of play of slack in the gates is this normal or should it be adjusted in the rod at the plastic nut coming out of the haul?

No, I tried everything that you can read in the comments, but it still has vibration. I figure I will tear into it before I winterize.

I've been looking for a solution for throttle vibration as well on my 2017 Yamaha 212 Limited S. Between this post and a few others on other forums, I'd have to say I have it licked. Each gate in neutral as stated earlier should be between 24 and 26 mm, so I aimed for 25mm. Upon my first look at the gates, the Port side was 21.5 (this side in fact had the grater vibration) and the Stbd side was 23.5mm. Good, seems we found the problem! However when I went to adjust the ball connector shorter to raise the gate, I couldn't get a full turn out of it. The threads on the cable were bottoming out in the fitting. I don't recall if it was in this thread or another about hoe to adjust the gate clearance, but what I did was cut the end of the threaded rod with a Dremel cutting wheel by about 4mm. This allowed the adjustment to give me 25mm on both sides and maybe make future adjustments. Tonight we went out and did some surfing with the Yamaha Wakebooster and a 750lb Fatsac where the vibration was its worst. No vibration, no throttle walk back.
