just curious. Who has had to contact Yamaha customer relations? Have they really helped? Is it lip service? Do they end up with real results?

The day I dropped of my problem 242x I got the survey in the mail for my 3 week old boat. I filled it out the best I could. Yamaha customer relations asked if I got the survey, they said it’s important. Well, we’ll see.

I've called them 3 times and no more. Every time I've called they just tell me to talk to my dealer. I even explained to them about the incorrect voltages on the connext screen was a design issue and they still said just to talk to the dealer. When I was first looking at the boats I told them the brochure I had said the AR240 came with 6 speakers but it only had 4 at the show and they said talk to the dealer. I think the only reason they are there is so they can say they have a customer support dept.
