Do you know where can I find YDS for Yamaha 242x e 2017? What is the part number? Where can I find it?
 
I believe the cheap eBay ones only work up to the 2012 models. I don't know that there is a commercial option for a 2017 (other than trying to convince Yamaha to sell you one at a billion dollars). Anyone know anything different?
 
I think this will work for your boat, you may want to confirm though since it only lists Yamaha jetskis.

Thanks, guys, both devices list yamaha Jet ski and outboard motors. Do you think this will check all other electro modules in the boat?

I found a diagnostic tool to diagnose and clear my check engine light on my 2017 Yamaha 242x.
