I like the silver but would buy the white one as I perceive it to be more rare. According to my local paper, silver is the top choice of men buying "mid life crisis cars" especially sports cars. I'm not saying you are buying a midlife crisis car, just supporting my prior statement. FYI, according to the same article men are more likely to buy a sports car and of the sports cars the Corvette is ranked first in the United States.
I bought a used vette a few months ago and still surf craigslist for them, just out of curiosity.. The best sales line I've seen so far which proved to be true and good advice after the fact, for me anyway, "Don't make the mistake of not getting the convertible?"
I like the white more. Has more contrast with the rest of the car so it has a more pop factor. Let's face it you drive these cars to get noticed and for the thrill so might as well get the one that grabs the most attention.
