2023 Wisconsin (jet)boaters meet-up?

Anyone interested in meeting up on the fringes of the Sandbar Bash on 8/5 if the weather is good? I’ve never attended this event but Mount Olive is playing again and it’s the biggest party on the Lake Winnebago chain.

It would be good to see some of the boaters that I’ve met before - and some that I haven't - from this site and maybe it will lure @drewkaree out on the water.

We don't get over there much (central WI, wisconsin river area) - but sounds like fun.

It's worth the trip if you're into the party scene - it's supposed to be raucous.

Some people got their undies in a wad back in 2020 because people weren't wearing masks and social distancing.........

We will be at the Sandbar bash and on the outskirts…last year was our first time and it made for some great people watching! Look for our all black Moomba- we will have a few other boats in our group..

Also will be boating up to and staying at the Wolf River Lodge this Saturday.

The weather was weird on Saturday- Got dumped on while leaving Partridge with sun all around then rained for the next several hours. Wolf River lodge had a band..still recovering for being over-served..

We were repairing windows between deluges around then, I agree, it was a really weird weather day.

Was at Norwegian Bay yesterday and had a great time. Tried to get the mayor of Sandbarville to come out and play but he was doing grown-up things.
