Bimini 2015 - July 6th to 11th

If it's small enough, put it in a bag of rice to expedite drying

The water was as smooth as promised today.

Victory Reef was awesome! You can see the colorful coral and fish standing on the boat in 50' of water. But the current is strong. We ended up letting the boat drift with us. Initially we tied to a mooring buoy but found that the current was too strong to swim back to the boat. It is a good thing that @Rana can drive the boat.

Then we fished at Tuna Alley. We caught two nice yellow tail, several huge triggers, I believe some other type of snapper and I believe a few small tuna. Our biggest problem was trying to keep the lesser fish from getting our bait before the snapper did. I will post more fish pics later in hopes that you guys can identify them.

It was amazing at Victory reef as @Bruce commented... The water clarity was breathtaking... I was hoping to see another sea turtle but, no luck today...looking forward to enjoying our catch hot off the grill tonight. Wish the other fish would have stayed back and allowed for more yellowtail...

@Valerie Glad you made it to our community!!! Very nice pics! Look at that water..wow.

All of us in the jet watercraft family will watch out for each other. It would be nice for a combo trip. Maybe Ill take my ski....maybe Ill take my boat.... or maybe Ill have a new boat......
