I'm new to Jetboats; this is my first. I've done some reasearch and gotten some guidance. I finally decided on either an AR230 or SX230. Drove far and wide looking at several boats when one popped up on the market. 2007 SX230HO. Owner says 50ish hours. Has high end color Garmin w/Transducer that gives water temp etc. Says he paid $2K for it. Also has Uniden Ship to Shore marine radio. Dual batteries with cut off and tender. 2 Bimini tops and he threw in a cool electric dolly to move the boat around with. It's my favorite color; blue and no damage. Trailer needs a taillight, byt tires look new. Winch and roller is upgraded. Factory transport cover included. Small head. Paid $18K. Going to take to shop to make sure all is well and get serviced. So, how did I do?
if everything works that's a very good price, they were about $26k new, so maybe he was ok with the depreciation, he had alot of stuff though, a 2k garmin and two tops don't seem right for a boat with only 50 hours on it,

Took it out for the maiden voyage and she ran like a raped ape. Just need to clean her up, change oil & plugs, work on trailer, upgrade stereo... well you get the picture.
If it's good mechanically, I think you did well.... friend of mine bought that identical boat last summer and paid $18k, but it was not in as good of shape as yours and had more hours.
