Raymarine has a Fathers Day sale on plotters.

The $299 deal on the closeout A78 touchscreen plotter with a transom mount transducer is a particularly good deal.

I am uncertain if these deals come with charts. If not you may be able to use free Light House Charts or you may wish to buy Navionics charts which could cost $150 to $250 for your chosen area.

I've never done anything like this before. It is our 1st step towards Bimini 2019. Still need a radio, good life jackets and a 2nd bilge at the very minimum.

I believe it uses the same transducer and power supply combination as my existing Dragonfly. I am hoping installation is a simple as attaching a ram mount to the back and swapping the cable over.

I bought one also June 8th. They were on back order and had a expected shipping date June 15. Did you buy it from raymarine or did it redirect you to buy from Flir?
