You guys are making me want to bring my dog. I was always worried about the Vinyl getting damaged. Any suggestions for a life jacket for a 45lb Springer Spaniel?
We make sure her nails are trimmed before she can be on the boat. We do it at home with a dremel. Otherwise anything else should clean up. She is 40-45 pounds and the life jacket is a Ruffwear medium I think. It seems like the small would be too tight on ours.
Is he much of a swimmer? I've never heard of one of those (pit bull?) being much of one nor a bulldog or boxers. That's not to say they don't like being on the boat and with you. He looks like a great dog!

Took our baby girl out for the first time. She had a blast. Tired us out a bit keeping an eye on her. She gets car sick but no problem in the boat so that's fortunate.
She peed in the boat though. How do you relieve your dogs? Just make sure to go ashore occasionally?
How long did it take your pups to learn to just float with the life jacket? Mine would just swim until she wore herself out and then she would try to climb me.
Our two are getting used to it. The big guy Enzo is not very brave, but he is getting used to it. The little one is Madison, and she is part fish or something, she loves the boat and the water.
Don’t have a picture but our 8 month old golden retriever will jump off the tube to eat the bubbles off the wake. Feel sorry for her when I see her body contort when she hits the water. She will retrieve sticks and logs almost all day long.
