Yes, @swatski is right. It is like peanut butter in consistency. Perfect for the ding or scratch. For the bigger repair (say, if you hit something), you might want the normal gelcoat stuff. I went through I think 3 jars of the paste on my stump event, still need to give it another coat, but finally went to the real gelcoat.

Folks New to forum, great information. I’m trying to find out from IBoats site the right color match for my 2013 SX190, I need the white for the Hull and Blue.
For white hull here’s the closest one but not really sure
Spectrum Color Yamaha, 2012, Yamaha Boat Champagne CCP LVOC 22 Color Boat Gel Coat
For blue not sure if this is the one saw this in one of the thread
YAMAHA BOAT YACHT BLUE CCP LVOC 09-12
Any assistance will be great!

I have a big job repair bottom hull that need done plus scratches on the blue design.

I recently had a little incident with my keel, and used this product on the hull. Its a perfect match to the white. Get it with wax (the picture says no wax, btw) - its likely more than you'll ever need.

Huh! Could you tell if it matches the hull cap and cockpit interior white? (I think it's the WC5 white from Spectrum)

Post #13 - first page of this thread - has the Spectrum info on blue paste for 2012 SX190. I do not know if it is the same. With your hull number they should be able to tell (Spectrum/iBoats) the code.

That whole quart is the same price as 2 oz. of Spectrum paste!

I think the whites are all the same, though luckily I don't have a reason to find out right now, lol. I'd probably still spring for Spectrum for any colored surfaces as I doubt I'd have the prowess to match it correctly.

I called Highway Marine Svc (Yamaha Dealer Bucks,PA), Kevin parts guy was big help, provided me with the Spectrum part info to order from IBoat site.
