New 195S

I see it now but don't you have the J-seating (like I do)? There is not really any space there to play with is there?
Stick your head in the storage area and have a look. There is easily 8-10 in of depth there to put something.

If the speaker system has a wet sounds amp, it won't matter much as they'll crank out the tunes without effort.
UPDATE - Talked with a dealer who has one in stock - no amp, just the Wetsounds speakers.

Kinda figured that as well. I'd like to know what wetsounds speakers they did use though. I'm guessing it'll be the entry level 6.5s not the Revo

@redthumper9 mentioned Yamaha uses the Recon line from the "let's talk about Wetsounds" thread. Not sure of the size yet either - could be 5" or 6.5" - dealer wasn't certain without going to measure them. If someone knows the size of the stock speakers from the SX/AR 195 models, they would be the same size as it's the same hull and deck.

Adding an amp shouldn't be too hard near the battery area and access the Fusion at the stern.

So our boat has arrived. Will still be a week or more before we take delivery, but here are pics the dealer sent me as teasers. Sadly I see no bow door, or joystick. However, we are in love.

Thats awesome man congrats. (2019 AR195 Here) First thing you will want to do is replaced that bow roller with a [HASH=699]#ULT[/HASH]-4 Stoltz. The stock roller is too hard and will dmg the boat (i did mine before i drove off from the dealer). Second, replace the rear trailer lights and lightbar with LED based ones. Second time in water, one of mine burned out. Shorlandr has 1.5million of them from china with bulbs from 1997 apparently. That has to be the only reason they are not LED from the factory, lol. And last but not least, enjoy that beauty!!

Stoltz Bow Roller
STOLTZ Ultimate Bow Stop Roller Assembly #ULT-4

I currently have a Stoltz roller left over from my old boat. Do you know total overall length. Here's an image of mine :105251

Yours looks a little smaller by comparison.105280

Bwahahaha yaaasssss

Today is the day we pick our baby up. Absolutely cannot wait. Pictures will be coming soon, and a build thread once parts start arriving.

What size speakers come stock on the 195S. I have seen posts online that suggest both 5" and 6.5" speakers. I am thinking they are 6.5", but would like confirmation. Thanks

Wetsounds Recon 5s. So 5", but sound good stock. Even better with a little power

That's kind of lame that they skimped down to a 5" speaker. The older models at least came with 6.5"ers that had enough kick to them that you could get by without a sub.

You'll be seriously surprised with wetsounds capability. The recon 5s will easily out do the Polk or Marine Audio 6.5" speakers in most other Yamaha boats. Upgrading to the Revo 6.5" speakers for sure would be nice, but this is yamaha. Budget minded.

I pushed 50-65 rms watts to my stock recon 5s on the 195S. It's incredible loud. Does it have bass to replace a sub.... No. It does add more mid bass though. In my case though full sound system was the plan before buying the boat. So I wasn't worried. I was happy I didn't have to upgrade stock speakers though to the Revo series. No need imo. May later though.
