Just bumped accross this article.

I love rotaries. I love jets. I love skiing. I have a completely nonsensical affinity for 90's sports cars.

I would seriously get a second mortgage for this if I didn't think I would have to live in it after my wife found out.

This is just too amazing!

That’s some 90’s retro minitruckin right there. You should check out the Vargas brothers on YouTube:

I should mention I have a love of rotaries too. Used to autocross and road race an FC 87 Turbo II

Not much room for a bed in the truck so you better think twice...

That's amazing.

I've had two 1st gens, 3 second gens (one was an elusive GTUs I found in a local junkyard and restored to about 90%), and an RX8. Wife and I both loved the RX8 and hated to sell it when it was time to start the family. We'll have another one day I'm certain. Might also consider a 3rd gen, but they are hard to find in respectable condition within budget.

I was also big into Minitrucks, so this article hits me hard. Here's my '00 S10. Low enough you couldn't quite roll a soda can under the frame. Put almost 250k miles on that truck at that height. It's what got traded for the RX-8. Big brakes and swaybars with sticky 275's at each corner, tiny little 4cyl engine. it was ungodly slow in a straight line, but would out corner a number a high end cars.

My first car was a 1973 RX-2. Awesome car. Love the rotary engines

If you know rotaries you likely know this car. He's local and I've seen and heard it cruising around here a few times and it's nuts!

I love that car.

One day I'm going to get out of my own way and build something like that.

Keep the truck, I'll keep the ski

Ran across this and had to share.

Sounds like a bridgeported 2 rotor at idle, if not bridgeported then at least peripheral ported. Such a cool engine.
