I was ready to seatrial my port engine after patching the cylinder block. I had also pulled the Starboard to correct an overheat issue. After reinstalling Starboard I filled oil cooler with oil and more oil and more oil. I am hoping it is an oil pump check valve. But I think I have too much oil in the sump. And if the check valve is bad, better to replace it now than latter. The boat is a 2007 SX230HO with approximately 100 hours on each engine. The engine was running fine on the hose. After shutting in down for a short time oil registered low. I filled it. I did this 3 times. I need some advice, please.
