Does the '19 AR190 come with a zinc anode installed in or near the jet pump assembly to combat corrosion?

We purchased our new '19 AR190 a few months ago and will be mooring it in fresh water for 6 months of the year. Our previous boat was a SeaDoo Speedster 150 that was moored at the same slip in fresh water and in the recent years I noticed a lot of corrosion on the jet pump assembly, it looks like little white and yellow crystals all over. It actually looked like it was starting to eat through the metal in places. I don't want that happening to our new boat. Mind you, this is in FRESH water.

Do you recommend any anti-corrosive spray in particular? I have CRC Heavy Duty Corrosion Inhibitor, but I've read that it will degrade any rubber that it comes in contact with.

The anodes on a Yamaha (several) are magnesium, for fresh water. Zinc is used in salt water.

I think the stock anode is Zinc - you need to have it swapped for Magnesium in fresh water.

Note this is only needed for boats wet-slipped in a marina with lots of electrical activity in the water. If you trailer your boat, it's not an issue.

I spoke to a representative from Yamaha just yesterday and he assured me that all Yamahas are made with ZINC anodes

Well zinc is the wrong sacrificial anode material for fresh water boats.
