heading down I40 South toward Knoxville today
i pass these trucks all the time. but this one caught my eye
granted i am on the other side of the interstate so i could not zoom very good with my iphone and i had to be quick on the pic taking. I blew up the images of each boat
i believe the black hull is a 24'...looks like a black reverse arch tower and the red is a 21' 212 x or ar210
i have not seen this type of graphics on the black hull... the graphics look a little different as well on the red and the wheel package on the trailer is different from years past on shorlander trailers
Looks like there is shrink wrap on the 24' as well as a shipping cover

Nice catch. Interesting that the AR240 does not have a trailer, wonder if a trailer is now optional.

Interesting. The black looks like it says AR240. Definitly newer graphics and looks like it could have a forward swept tower. Thinking about it... if Yamaha wants to keep things as quiet as possible, they would probably shrink wrap the entire boat to mask it?? But who knows! Good catch.

The tower looks similar to that found on the Scarabs and Glastrons.

Ours is a 1 piece tower that folds forward and is hinged at the front just like that.

So far these pictures are making me happy I bought a 2013...Time will tell though

do you think it is an ar240 with a revers arch...
Either that or they had to remove the tower completly due to not folding low enough and then transport it in what looks like a reverse direction.

You've got to ask, how many 2014's would they still be manufacturing at this point. The AR240 is new graphics for sure.

Oh and does the red one look like it's floating? I know these boats are magical, but physics breaking ....?

Where is the dealer show this year? They will be transporting boats to it about this time or before. That could be why the 240 doesn't have a trailer going to be shipped on a larger boat to one of the islands. but who knows

The closest dealer from the pic taken is Premier Watersports on Watt rd in West Knoxville. I live a mile from there and doubt they were heading there until after the dealer show in September. No doubt these were 2015 though heading somewhere.

That's a good pic taken while running I40, you must have had cell phone in hand. Thanks for sharing.

a good salesman is always quick on the draw with his cell phone :)
This truck was heading north toward the I-81 / I-40 split
I am always on the lookout for these trucks... I usually see 1 to 2 a week

Anybody else do the survey on graphics. That looks like one of the options they had.

Great catch. . . . .

Good catch, I surveyed some of the new graphics as well.
I would be much more excited about a new boat from Yamaha, then any of the graphics I selected

Ugly graphics. No surprise there.

Where is the big dealer release?

I guess it's possible that Yamaha has a west coast "depot" to store boats at in order to supply dealers in a quick fashion.

I wish, but no.
