This seems like a fair price, especially since the 2021 MSRP was $30,649 w/o delivery, prep, and the trailer upgrade.
When you say shitty colors, you mean? I saw the Blue one, Green is still the other?
I was told something along those lines from a dealer but how they implement the lime green is unknown at this point. He was just going by what it said on their info sheets for the new models but they didnt have pictures.
Well personally, the green is why I picked the X... don't like the simplified graphic, but... 1st world problems.
after seeing the grey and blue and the less than fancy decal or emblem whatever we are calling it, i dont see the 2nd color wowing us lol, whatever it may be. Ill bet a green, doubt red.
I think back when they were cancelling the first round of 2021 boats is when they started producing the 2022 boats because they had too many unfinished 2021 boats waiting for parts. Then they came to the realization those parts weren't coming in time to complete the rest of the 21s they cancelled them so they didn't short their parts supply for 2022. And with this they had an over supply of 2021 colors so they just moved around the pallette from 21 on the 22s.
I was definitely told black and green for the unknown 255x. Its just a matter of whether its a simple green accent stripe (like in 2021) or a much larger percentage of green on the hull thats unkown. I like/love the green, I just dont want it on the inside of the boat. Thats my beef with the current blue/gray (previously blue/black) on the other 255x color. I like the blue but its just too much for me having the entire interior blue also.
I have a deposit on a 19.5S. I was told yesterday I could go to the dealership on Sunday Aug 15th and I see the 2022 that just arrived last week. I was told they will not unwrap any Yamaha boat until the 15th so don’t bother trying to show up before the 15th. Had he not said anything, I would have showed up early.
oh, the dealership is Ride Now in Jacksonville Fl.

Its all transpiring though right now, isn't it? I would postulate that Yamaha pushes some boats out pre launch to see what the appetite is with increased pricing, colors, design, etc. Of course they are watching and seeing what transpires. Make no mistake I would guesstimate, the more I see, that boats going out isn't random nor are dealers just pulling fast ones and preselling them when they shouldn't, no one would cut their nose off to spite their face in this market. Generate excitement, test the waters, analyze the market and consumer demand. Yamaha and their marketing team know what they are doing.It will be nice to finally see what all transpires for real on the 17th!! The boss is already concerned about the jump in price for what we wanted….should be interesting on both fronts
