I see stuff over priced like this from time to time and wonder if it's not form of hiding in plain site dope deal or something similar.

Don't get me wrong, I'd love to come across a half ounce in my shiny new oil drain pan.

I bought a laptop from a guy on Amazon awhile back. I wanted a very specific set of specs, and he only wanted to sell through Amazon. So he made me a listing that had the correct price for what I wanted, but had a ship time of like 9 months or something to make sure nobody else would buy it. He sent me the listing, I bought it, and it was at my door within a week.

I'm sure you aren't completely wrong here. Could very well be an easy way to make a transaction happen on the "up and up" while hiding the real contents of a conversation offline......Although I would expect it to be more than $153....Unless they are selling 100 of them or something.

I track this oil pan in particular because I was going to buy it a year ago when I started doing oil changes on my RAM, which has more oil than displacement, 6 qts vs 5.7L. When Spring came the price started going up by $10/week and is now here. I agree with @King , at this price it should come with the oil, and the filter too!

That is a great movie haven't seen it in years but any time i hear a banjo i think of it, and it makes me squeel like a pig! Lol
