Just finished installing my Marine Mat... I think it looks great went with the Pinline Cut for inside the boat and 2 Inch Teak for the swim platform.
Forgot to take a before on the inside but here is a before and after on swim platform... Looks like a whole new boat! As a note I had to take the warning stickers off as the side pieces on the swim platform covered them half way up and it looked terrible.

Is there a reason the swim deck mat on all the Yamahas is divided in the middle? Couldn't you just have 1 piece?

just a wild a$$ guess... the two pieces is a better shape nest to waste less material and one solid piece is a little more cumbersome to install...

The piece on the clean out hatch is actually two pieces too. I think it made it easier to install and you cant tell.

I understand for the rear decks with the cleanout ports (mine are under the seats). But all of the Yamaha Swim decks (even from the MFG) are in 2 pieces.

on order!! cant wait... and since I stretched my engine bay 8.5 inches to fit the MR-1's I was able to get a matching custom mat to cover that area... I whipped up a rough drawing to work from... I was all set to make cushions for the area however I've found that I use it for foot traffic and loading and unloading the boat so that just leaves me two more custom seat cushions to make rather than 4... Its the ledge forward of the engine hatch and behind the bench seat... titanium on black 4" plank... and the best part no more cup holders in the floor to stub toes on... now to buff the hull
