Just got my new to me 2021 275SD and I'm trying to put on the factory Yamaha boat cover.

I have watched online videos but nothing for a 275.

Anyone have a copy of the instructions that come with the cover or tips?

I have the poles in the position marked on each pole but the front pole is
right were the folding window would go.

Thanks

I had a custom cove made in two pieces for my '22 275SD but I also purchased the Yamaha Trailering Cover when I found one about $500+ less than the typical prices listed online. I have not tried to put the cover on yet but during my research I found there was a change in the cover part number from the original cover released in 2019.

The original part number was MAR-275ST-BK-19 and the new part number is MAR-275HT-BK-20. Which part number do you have?

If you have the original part number, I wonder if they made a change because people had problems getting it on the boat.

Will it work if you leave the folding window open?

Can you post pics of what you are dealing with?

There are usually two pairs of poles that are part of a non pooling/anti pooling kit. The first are fixed length and come with the shipping cover. The second are variable length/telescoping poles that come with the canvas cover. As the name implies these poles are positioned under the cover to create high points in the cover which allow rain water to shed off the cover instead of pool / pond in the low spots of the cover. It should be installed on the cleats before the cover is put on and its poles raised after the cover is put on, at least initially until it’s adjusted properly.

one thing common to all the anti-pooling kits I have / had is the straps that complete each kit. Specifically, the white straps attach to the cleats on the bow and the black straps attach to the stern cleats (at least this is what I found works/fits best). The strap that attaches the two poles together goes over the center windshield. This strap’s length may be adjusted in one , sometimes two ways. First there may be a buckle that allows for the adjustment. Second, adjusting the height of one or both poles will change the length of the center strap.

i hope this all makes sense. Good luck.

I figured out what my problem was.
The polls marked front, middle and rear were in the wrong place of the top support system.
Once I had it set up I was able to look at it and understand they were configured incorrectly so I moved them into the correct position. Top fits perfectly.
Been boating for many years. This is my first jet boat. I'll have more questions to come I'm sure.

Thanks.

So the 27 foot covers have three support poles?
