Newbie with a few questions

Hello all! Picked up a new AR195 and had a few questions.

I noticed dip stick was about a quarter quart above high level and figured it came like that from factory or dealer and didn’t mess with the level until I changed oil at 10 hours. It was also always hard to find level ground but now I know. Just wanted to make sure this did not ruin anything running WOT quite a bit after the 95 min break in?

Also, do I need to start engine after pulling out of water and giving it a quick rev to drain more water? Or is that something only needed to winterize?

Just wanted to make sure I keep this boat running for years! Thank you!

I always keep the engines running as we get off the water and give it some slight throttle since it’s no longer under load. That way it dries out the cooling system some.

Oil level can be an issue if overfilled, I’d make sure your air filter isn’t wet with oil.

Is there harm in starting it up after shutting down and giving it a quick rev? Ok to do with the supercharged motors?

Different situation, but I always test fire both my engines before I dip in to make sure they will fire right up when in the water.

Get the oil below that line for starters, new engine overfilled is not ideal. A few short blasts is fine to get excess water out . And is recommended when prepping for winter so there isn't much water in the system that will freeze
