Over 26,000lbs does not require a CDL. Most large RV's are over 26,000lbs and they do not require a CDL.

That's an interesting concept, I do not know. But it may very well be - IF you have the Kenworth registered as a not-for-hire vehicle - that you do not need a CDL - just a Class E or F, or in NC Class A (I looked that up)

Apparently my bil is in the bahamas at Atlantis for some business convention trip. He is 6'7" i believe. The bus is not so accomidating
Now I feel lost and stupid. Do I really need all that keeping in mind this will be a couple times a year thing for me and not very serious about it? I am a huge proponent of good tools and if that is what I really need then I am going to also need more guidance and conceptual understanding.

Yeah we are going to be playing with the tablet stuff too to use as a navionics. My phone is an s6 active and i rinse it off in a barrel of water after work and it keeps kickin no problem so that will have it too. Hope my wife can navigate so i can just drive. Better that way imo.
Reef fish, especially yellow tail avoid bait where they can see the line. I use 25 pound fluorocarbon on my small reels.
