    ...and am careful not to overtighten the bolts, just hand tight and cinch it with a ratchet wrench. I’ve probably replaced four or five ladders over the last 20 years and always go straight to Windline. Great price, good service, quick shipping, absolutely no reason to buy from a reseller/middlemen.

    Most people who've had issues with their ladders have been able to contact the manufacturer and have gotten them replaced or spare parts easily. Windline is the manufacturer - here are the threads that reference them.
