    Fsh 190 drainage question

Shortly after I got my new boat, I got tired of exactly what you're describing. Right in front of the batteries, under the port seat is where my wife thought would be a good place to keep her purse and other things while we were out. Found out quickly that was a bad idea. Drilled a 3/8" hole in...

Wife wants to sell the 210 FSH sold

I'm thinking there's a trawler in your future. :winkingthumbsup"

    Plugged drain.

I'm not familiar with the 2021 19's but, the fish locker is designed to drain into the head compartment? That seems really odd. Here's a link to my old YouTube video showing where my big leaks were coming from. Fixing those and the old anchor locker drain issue solved the majority of my...

    Idle speed rattle

If you do find a solution, please do post. FWIW. I like to do most of my slow maneuvering with the cruise bumped up +1 or +2 and take advantage of the smooth F-N-R thrust bucket as opposed to a clunking gearcase. Takes the rattle away as well. They're good boats and you'll have a ton of fun...

    Idle speed rattle

Lot's of excellent advice but at the risk of being the nay sayer...relax and run it. My 2016 has also done what sounds exactly the same as you're describing since brand new. I was all worried about it as well. You've got nothing loose, you've checked your bearing grease, you're not seeing the...

195fsh sport - starboard self drain port not draining at all, Bilge pump doesn't seem to be working correctly

FWIW - Where we vacation and get lots of rain, we get bombed by a very dirty Oak tree with lots leaves and black stuff falling into the boat. There comes a point where flushing with hose doesn't get everything out. Last time there, I ended up pulling out the scuppers and cleaning both the front...

2018 210 FSH - Steering cable gone already

Ok, chalk me up for a bad steering cable as well. Unfortunately, just started a three week vacation in Destin and the boat is in the water. Hoping I can live with it for the vacation duration providing it doesn't get much worse. Only 120 hours, garage stored, always washed down and well lubed or...

    My 2020 FSH sport thread

Congrats and enjoy. FWIW, I'm on my 2nd Ecodiesel. I can't hit 20 even with only my 190 behind. About 17 is the best I get, but that's also not sparing the MPH's on 1000+ mile tows. Perfect engines and platform for towing our boats for sure.

    Which Bow Roller???

Nice, obviously not the Stoltz they had at the Destin West Marine when I went shopping. That one looks perfect.

    Which Bow Roller???

I found myself in the same boat. :winkingthumbsup" After another CO to FL road trip last year, the OEM supplied roller had to go. Off to West Marine to try and match something up before heading back home. Personally, I did not like the way the Stoltz fit and didn't match the bow profile. I...

    Livewell fill intake FSH 190

I didn't like the plastic plugs either...gone and replaced with bronze. Marco is nice. Nine years since we were there last. Coming from out west, going around the big bend adds a lot of driving for us. Destin has been our go-to for a long time now. Spring storms are a little more frequent up...

    Livewell fill intake FSH 190

My first guess would be no. I've looked all around that thing while the boat is sitting in the water and that area is always dry. I think they've got that "below waterline" accessory sealed up pretty good. I fought the wet bilge/changing area almost as much as anyone and have done a great...

    Livewell fill intake FSH 190

I actually have a video of the under side while I was swimming (In Lake Michigan by the way) with a close up of the intake. I was curious how it looked after many, many thousands of trailered miles riding on that bunk board. I'll have to find the video and capture a clip for posting. Give me a...

Introduction and Questions Re FSH 190 and Scarab 195 Open ID

I've been coming down to your area for years. The last 3 with the 190 FSH and staying on Joe's Bayou. I think you'll love it. Not that there's much of a tide there but I've only touched sand once on Crab Island at low tide. No issues. As far as handling, at least in spring when we're there...

    2017 FSH Water Leak Checklist

A few ideas; - With the dry boat on the trailer, install your drain plugs and run a garden hose into the bilge. Fill it up to a reasonable point to rule out all of those rear/bottom items. (Drain plugs, speedo pick-up, livewell thru-hull.) - If nothing found leaking while on land, put the boat...

    Drain holes under jump seats

Same here. Does the trick. Then do what @Tailwaters did with his gutter drains around the seats on his recent thread and you should be golden. I haven't done that yet but it's definitely on the to-do list. Also put some dry deck matting on the floor. It's a big help.

    Todays the day

Congrats and have fun. (You might want to leave the trailer off in heavy current. :winkingthumbsup" Sorry, couldn't help myself.)

I like that ABYC wiring standard tape job on the wire coming out of the VSR. ;)
