The Portside ballast on my '18 242x will not fill. No issues with the other two bags. Touch screen will allow me to select % to fill, can hear pump running but will not fill. I live a few hours from nearest service center. Any ideas of what is causing or how to fix without seeing service center? Thanks!

@jcyamaharider and @BigAbe75 would be able to tell, but they are probably fully ballasted and surfing right this moment!

Well, there’s only one valve and one intake, so if the other bags are working, and you hear the pump working... I would take a guess at a kinked hose in the port compartment , or something clogging the line.

Maybe disconnect the bag and try to fish a pull tape or something through the hose and see how far it goes??

Has it ever worked?

I don;t know the setup, but possibly also pump impeller not working, somewhat unlikely in a boat that new, but could happen. Was the pump ever left run dry (accidentally)? That can kill those impellers rather fast.

No, had it looked at during winterization last fall. They put new pump on but could not test it due to lakes being closed. I’ll try your recommendation and see if something is in the hose. Thanks!
