Can someone explain to me why I can reflash a waverunner svho via riva racing to raise the rpm limiter to 8k but I can't do the same with my 195 svho? My maptunerX won't connect or read my boat. I'm getting 7500 max rpms and an increase to 8k would make a huge difference.

That is very odd, would think both are compatible

That’s odd, Maybe it’s that way on purpose as 8000 RPM pulling that big of a boat around with that much weight is a lot different than 8000 pulling a JetSki around.

All SVHOs are not equipped with the same pump. Some got the 155, others 160.

SVOs got 155mm all svho got 160 even the larger boats

See this thread for details on running the PWC maptuner X tune in a boat. https://jetboaters.net/threads/maptuner-x-ar195.23814/

Even with the higher RPM limit the boat could not hit those RPM’s. You’ll need to likely get more mods to squeeze out more performance. That guy went with Lucky13 cone to try and gain more. What is your end goal besides just more RPM? I’d probably look into a larger SC wheelif you’re wanting more power and overall performance than just hunting for RPM’s up too.

Have you reached out to Jerry or anyone on Greenhulk or even Riva to see if they can help with it reading your boat?
