That's actually a great idea if they are not cracked. If so, you would be putting color on the foam below, and they may look odd.
We have used that in our SXS forum. The seats in my Wildcat are severely faded, and others have used Vinyl paints for seats on them. I have not had any luck finding the orange that matches, otherwise, I would have done it already. As my seats are not cracked or ripped, just faded.
If you can find a nice earth tone, it could be tested on a seat that is not out all the time, like the bow bolsters, or the filler cushion in the back. if it looks nice, go nuts on the other main seats.
