2017 242X Stereo upgrade

I have mine behind the helm so I didn't have to drill any holes in the dash and all. I don't really mess with it much as it's preset so it's out of the way for me.

I mounted under the steering wheel using the billet mount. A bit spend, but I loved the look & functionality.

I went with black. Bought it from @Earmark Marine when I bought the WS420BT and some JL Audio gear. Like all things Wetsounds, it was not cheap. But it was bulletproof.

That is AWESOME. I did not know those exist.
Definitely getting one.
After making contact between a knee and the sharp bottom of the face plate - I'll say - it looks good to me!

Also - love the harness. Great install. I'll be redoing mine now, I already got KnuKonceptz RCA on @Mainah recommendation - those are ridiculous (look at the size of the shielding - compared to a pencil!!!), no way those can fit through the opening I'm using now (w/BestBuy RCAs):

This will (hopefully) be the last battle of my static noise war! The hum is already gone - all grounds lead to one under the helm KnuKonzepts (4g?) big boy wire.
