2017 FSH 190 trolling motor batteries

I am a few weeks into ownership of my 2017 FSH 190. The dealer I bought it from did a lot of good stuff and I'm fixing some of the little things that they didn't even notice. I am in the process of melting my trolling motor which I have figured out pretty well using a large backing plate underneath the fiberglass and factory mount.

The batteries though are not just straightforward for me. I have a pair of lithium iron phosphate batteries I don't have a problem with wiring them up and getting everything set up. I'm just stuck with where to melt the batteries.

The front locker would make wiring the absolute easiest but I am not keen on putting any more weight up there.

Next would be under the center console however I do kind of like having that space usable if somebody needs to change or something like that.

The other spot is next to the factory batteries underneath the jump seat on the port side. This would be the most work wiring it however it's easy to access it would be easy to have battery charger access to it as well. And typically when I am by myself I go ahead and fill up the bait well anyway.

What has everyone else done that works. I know I could make something but I prefer to build on the knowledge and experience of others who have gone down this path.

My 2021 195fsh came to me with the trolling batteries mounted inside the center console compartment but under the deck toward the bow centered on the keel. I think I have a photo.

photos attached. shore power into the center console, the back side of the shore power socket, the tender which has since fallen from its mounting screws due to plastic failure of the base, the batteries, and the bracket/power plug in.

You cant see that the batteries are under the deck, but imagine sitting inside the center console with your back to it looking forward under the deck and that is where they are. Also a short and clear run to the mounting location for the wiring.

Also, I am told you need to be careful how you wire the GPS for the trolling motor and that it can cause interference with your other boat sonar electronics.

Awesome thank you for the pictures that helps a lot. Unfortunately my budget does not have a spot lock or GPS or sonar enabled truly motor I was given a 12 volt 55 lb of thrust riptide that I slept a new control board and armature in and is now a 24 volt 80 lb lol another year or two I'll save up and get something else but I figure I don't need to be setting off my wife since she already has some anxiety about buying the boat outright.
