2018 212 limited S Connext screen not loading

My Connext screen is stuck on the yamaha logo.
i disconnected the batteries overnight and connected them back but that didnt Help .
I’m able to turn on the engines but the screen is just stuck on the first logo.
i found another thread here but the guy just said the dealership told him there was something wrong with the memory and they replaced the screen all together.
has anyone else had this issue and if so what did you do to fix it ?

also if I’m going to buy a new screen.. might as well buy the 7 inch screen.. which I think it would fit in the same spot.
