Boat is in storage and I need to buy a new battery. The current OEM Interstate has the negative on the left and the positive on the right. I want to purchase an X2 AGM but the positive in on the left/negative on the right. They don't make one (at least at Batteries Plus) that has neg left/pos right.
Not having paid any attention to the cable lengths in the past, will the two negative cables reach across the battery to the right side?
Or do I have to have a negative left/positive right terminals like the OEM?
I realize I could just flip the battery around but the X2 is a screw on plus normal post battery and I'd like to avoid the wires possibly hitting the automotive size posts.
