2019 SX195 Engine Anode

Thanks for sharing the pics Michal. It must be year of the anode...I just changed my water heater anode at home with the powered version (is everyone else doing this every 3-5 years?), and now queued up for the spring maintenance on the boat for all the anodes. Parts ordered....thanks for the inspiration!
I got my inspiration from @Leojay . I didn't want have more issue by waiting too long. Good luck @JetBoatPenguin

Got it out and replaced. Did as you suggested. Backed the manifold bolts out a bit. This opened up just enough space to get the old one out and the new one in. I was about 1/3 to a 1/2 used up on the anode. That's 5 years of mixed water usage and flushed after each outing with saltaway.View attachment 212273

Yes I had to get all the bolts lose quite a bit to make space. The anode was stuck pretty good. I used a flathead screwdriver and a hammer to tap the anode. It was pain to make it lose.

Ahhh you're lucky. Yes the manifold almost has to come out.

It's not difficult to remove the manifold. I had a boat that was wet slipped in salt water, I had to remove the manifolds and scrape out the old anodes with a flathead screwdriver. They were completely corroded and had a consistency like hard play-doh.

This is my first boat what i ever had I just get it few weeks ago I DID IT loosing all manifold bolts and moving manifold 1/2 inch out and i removed anode
My looks like brand new (so looks like previous owner change it there is 270 H on boat) so i put it back and ill check on it after the 2025 season (on salt water use) how ill looks
